There are only four hundred farmers raising prized "black cattle" throughout the Japanese Miyazaki prefecture, with a stunningly low farmer to cow ratio, ensuring that every animal receives the attention and respect required to raise the world's finest Wagyu. Fed wheat and corn, the meat from this region's finest Miyazaki cattle is known for its intense marbling, bright red color, soft texture, and density of flavor. Sold refrigerated in cryovac packages, not frozen. 
 
Average steak size is 26 ounces, and feeds 4-5 adults.
